About INLAR | |
Apology and law is emerging as a specific focus within the broad multidisciplinary field of apology research with academics throughout the world working on a range of research questions. Research in the apology and law field is undertaken by researchers who often work in isolation and who publish and present papers in a range of journals and conferences without a specific apology and law focus. A number of researchers working in the field believe there is potential for better coordination of research and for the outcomes of research on apology and law to have greater impact. We seek to facilitate communication of research ideas and outcomes and national and international collaboration between researchers working in the field. As there is only a small number of researchers working in the field it is not likely that it will be feasible to establish a journal or organise regular conferences that focus on apology and law research. A web-based research network therefore is an ideal way to method to link researchers in the field and share information and ideas. This email list is one step towards establishing this web-based research network. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the INLAR Archives. (The current archive is only available to the list members.) |
