About Anziamwa | |
ANZIAM (Australia and New Zealand Industrial and Applied Mathematics) is a subgroup of the Australian Mathematics Society, whose aim is to promote the use of mathematics for solving problems outside mathematics (government and industry). The subgroup runs lecture series across Australia and New Zealand and yearly conferences. ANZIAMWA is the Western Australia subdivision of ANZIAM and includes staff from UWA, Curtin, Murdoch and Edith Cowen Universities. Also there are CSIRO members and members from other organisations. Anyone with interest in the use of mathematics `in industry' is welcome to attend the lectures and may join ANZIAM. Individuals from academe and industry are invited to give lectures to the group. Also members are kept informed about MISG (Maths in Industry Study Groups) activities held internationally. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Anziamwa Archives. (The current archive is only available to the list members.) |
